Starting out
Design/Marketing/Branding/Creative Agencies and Startups (2012 - 2016)Working across various industries and sectors has given me a wealth of information, working practices, and experience which I always bring and develop on.
It may also be worth mentioning my final major projects at college/uni and what they related to:
College (16-18yo) - The search for aesthetic perfection
This included vast amounts of research into classical paintings included extended research into the theory of aesthetics and understanding form and layout and composition which culminated not only in a set of 3 images of beautiful scenery and people in balanced composition but also an experiential installation including audio, physical and visual with a written understanding for those who may not have “got” it (I was young I never took a photo and it ended up in the trash when the exhibition was over).
University (18-22yo) - Polar Bear Magazine (ethically environmental culture magazine) and my disertation on the “How technology will affect the magazine industry and it’s potential environmental impact?”
The entire magazine was created by myself with help from friends and those I could gain access at the time wanting to talk about environmental action.
The disertation was the first to even mention the subject of environmental impacts of design within UCA.
Between these years I was also working up to assistant manager level within retail and hospitality roles, I was traveling 5 hours a day to be a Watford advertising student, I worked roles as artworker, digital designer, foreign lectuerer, a handful of other roles and many more which aren’t relevant to my profession but are in my person.
